Move for the Heart of Torbay

On Sunday 17th May, fourteen fitness instructors across Torbay are running back-to-back sessions to raise money for the Heart Campaign Torbay. From 8.45am right through to 5pm, there are fourteen sessions to choose from across eight venues, with options for every fitness level and age group.

The campaign exists to push back against proposals that would move cardiac services away from Torbay Hospital. Every booking on Sunday helps fund that work.

Why we're doing this

Torbay Hospital's cardiac services are at risk. The proposals on the table would see specialist heart care moved out of Torbay, meaning longer journeys for patients and families at the worst possible times. The Heart Campaign Torbay is fighting to keep those services where they belong.

This fundraiser is one of the ways the community is standing behind that fight. Whether you make it to one session or four, whether you bring the kids along, or whether you just share the event with people you know in Torbay, every bit of support counts.

Our hospital. Our community. Our future.

Let's move for the heart of Torbay.
